Abandoned Vehicles-Ask the City

Question:

Why does the city not make people clean up cars that don't run and aren't plated even after complaints?

Answer:

"The police department actively patrols and marks vehicles that meet the statutory definition of being abandoned. Once marked, if the vehicles are not moved, made operable, or made current with registration, they are towed at the owner's expense after 5 days. Residents can also report possible abandoned vehicles by calling dispatch at 307-721-2526."

Ask the City Of Laramie is your chance to send the city that burning question that you have always wondered about such as: “How can I get a city parking permit?” or “Why did my water usage rates go through the roof?”
