Alan Jackson – 22 Years of Hits Noted

It's hard not to be impressed with the career of the great Alan Jackson.  In fact, I was kind of surprised to learn that his first hit release was marketed 22 years ago.  Actually, I had thought that it was a lot further back.

But, no.  It's only been 22 years.  Man, how many hits has Alan had in just over two decades.

It was Twenty-two years ago  that Alan Jackson released his first hit Here In The Real World It's been a stellar career ever since for Alan.  He's been awarded just about every honor you can get in the music business and is still going strong.

Plus, he was able to keep that unbelievable and unique style no matter how the genre reacted to the others.  From Don't Rock the Jukebox to the heart-rending, Where Were You (his beautifully sad tribute to the ones who died in the attacks of September 11, 2001) Alan has been solid as a rock with every release, never failing to deliver.

A big, big shout out to Mr. Jackson on a great career.  22 years in the business and still crankin' them out.  Here's to at LEAST 22 more years of making listening to country radio a real, real pleasure.
