Albany County Relay For Life

The annual Relay For Life fundraising event for Albany County is set for June 20-21 at Deti Stadium on the campus of Laramie High School.

Track team set up begins at 3:00 p.m. Friday and the Opening Ceremony begins at 6:00 p.m.

There is also a reception at 5:00 p.m. in the small high school gym and the official Survivors Lap set for 6:15 p.m.  A Luminaria Ceremony will take place at 9:00 p.m.

Teams will walk continuously on the track through the night and into Saturday.

Thus far over $18,000 have been raised for cancer patients and research for the 2014 event alone.
