Another Honor for Garth Brooks?

It wasn't that long ago that we were reporting that Garth Brooks had been inducted into the National Songwriter's Hall of Fame. 

Well, turns out there is a Nashville Songwriters' Hall of Fame and Garth's being nominated for THAT one too!

And as the name implies, the list of fellow nominess is filled with greats from the Country side of things.  Joining Garth in this class of nominees are such legends as Larry Gatlin, Amy Grant, Alan Jackson and Townes Van Zandt.

The winner will be announced later this fall in Nashville.
