Authors Visit Laramie To Discuss Writing Experiences

Two well-known authors will be in Laramie on Thursday, October 30 to discuss their experiences in writing during the “He Said, She Said” author tour. Wendelin Van Draanen and Mark Huntley Parsons will be at the Second Story Books at 105 E. Ivinson at 6:30 p.m.

Van Draanen is a bestselling author of over 30 books including Flipped, The Running Dream, and Sammy Keyes. Parsons is a long-time non-fiction writer and author of Road Rash. The two are on a national tour to support independent book stores.

They will adapt to the audience to discuss and take questions on several topics. Some things to be discussed include their writing process (and yours), the book-to-movie experience, and dealing with agents, editors and publishers.

The event is a great opportunity for those who want to discuss the writing process, are interested in knowing more about the publishing industry, avid readers, writers and book lovers.
