Have you ever seen BeatGrass perform?

The local bluegrass band will play One (more) Last Time at The Midtown Tavern,  June 11, with a very special guest filling in on banjo.

The banjo player for BeatGrass, Pete Mergard, passed away in January of 2014, so to play the banjo strings the band have recruited Pete's favorite, Jalan Crossland, to fill in. Their mandolin player and lead singer, Jeff Daugherty, has relocated to Germany, but he is returning to Wyoming for the performance. It's being billed as 'One (more) Last Time BeatGrass with very special guest Jalan Crossland.'

The other members of BeatGrass are Shawn Hess, who's been playing with Harriman Exit, on the upright bass and Josh Reese on guitar, fiddle and vocals.

There's no cover charge at The Midtown Tavern, look for the Anderson's Other Corner Sign at 1303 E. Pershing Blvd., on Saturday, June 11, at 8:30 p.m.

Enjoy this great local bluegrass band while you still can!
