The Laramie Rangers had two players receive accolades after the completion of the 2015 American Legion Baseball season.

Senior Kacey Bernaski and junior Harrison Yates both earned Second Team All-State for 'AA' legion baseball in Wyoming. It's the first honor for both players in their career. Yates was the Rangers' top hitter, while Bernaski was the primary catcher and a top pitcher.

Yates led Laramie in most offensive categories. He hit for a .371 average drove in 34 runs and scored 35, all of which led the squad. Out of his 46 total hits, Yates produced 23 for extra-bases. He finished with team-highs of 15 doubles and six triples. He also tied for the team lead with two home runs.

On the mound, Harrison was 1-2 with a 9.33 earned run average. He appeared in ten games and started seven. Yates tossed 33 innings this past season for Laramie.

Bernaski tied for the team lead with 47 total hits this year. He was a close second on the team with a .370 average. Kacey ended up with 26 RBI's and twelve extra-base hits.

When he was pitching, Bernaski featured the team's leading ERA at 2.80 out of the regular rotation. He was 2-1 on the season and appeared in 13 games with six starts. He threw 40 innings and finished with 36 strikeouts, good for third on the team.

Voting was conducted by the head coaches of the seven 'AA' teams in Wyoming.
