When you live in Wyoming, it’s funny to see the other 49 state's best vacation sites.

The website purewow.com says, “You don’t have to jet across the globe,” referring to each state’s own best backyards."

Without listing their criteria, PureWow has just a few words on what’s nice about each of their 50 picks, including exact location, and one pretty picture.

The choice for Wyoming is no surprise. Seeing it photographed so many times, we know our Tetons anywhere.

Specifically, here is what they said:
“In the heart of the American West, majestic Jackson is surrounded by the snow-capped Teton Mountains and wild Snake River. Don’t worry, indoor gals: there are also luxurious five-star hotels, top spas and trendy restaurants.”

Best spots for our Cowboy State neighbors:
Aspen, Colorado,  Moab, Utah, Omaha, Nebraska, Deadwood in South Dakota, and the “Gateway to Yellowstone,” Big Sky, Montana.

Some of the other states also have “okay” spots, if you'd like to see some of them as well.
