Billy Currington Indicted For Terroristic Threats

Billy Currington was indicted Wednesday on charges of making terroristic threats against Charles Harvey Farrell. According to WSAV-TV, Currington is also charged with abuse of an elder person by inflicting mental anguish upon Ferrell, who is more than 65 years-old.

The verbal confrontation reportedly took place April 15 in the waters off Tybee Island while Currington was on his boat. (WSAV-TV has the police incident transcripts posted at their site - here)

Farrell claims Currington and the people on his boat were "flocking" to his docks located off the island.

Currington posted a statement on Twitter Wednesday:

Saying, "I wanted to thank everyone for the huge amount of support that I have received already. Unfortunately, I can't comment on this situation as this is an ongoing legal matter. It means a lot to me to have your support during this time."

Billy Currington was not arrested on the charges.
