University of Wyoming Head Football Coach Craig Bohl says the pokes need to control the ball and play solid defense to slow down the Oregon Ducks' explosive offense on Saturday.

Oregon, which is rated second in the nation in this week's Associated Press poll, is coming off a 46-27 drubbing of seventh ranked Michigan State, and is favored by a whopping 43 points over Wyoming.

Wyoming takes a 2-0 record into the game, coming off a 17-13 win over conference win over Air Force on Saturday

At his weekly press conference on Monday, Bohl said he thinks the number one task for Wyoming is to control the ball on offense, so the Ducks have fewer opportunities to score. He noted both the Cowboys and their opponents have scored relatively few points in Wyoming's two victories so far, and said the fact the cowboys have dominated the time of possession in those games is a major reason why.

Bohl says the second key for the Wyoming defense is that Cowboy defenders take care of their assignments. Bohl says a third concern is that Wyoming's corner backs do a better job of tackling.

Kickoff is scheduled for noon Mountain Time Saturday in Eugene, Oregon
