Wyoming head coach Craig Bohl called it a “special day.” Those were his words at the end of last Friday’s Pro Day at the University of Wyoming.

Nine former Cowboys, including Josh Allen, worked out for NFL scouts and other pro team personnel. They went through everything from measurements to weight room work with the bench press, vertical jump and broad jump, to on-the-field drills, which included the 40-yard dash, 3 Cone Test, 15 Yard Shuttle and 60 Yard Shuttle.

After all the testing had concluded, the Cowboys’ head man met with the media to discuss all that went on with the primary focus on Josh Allen’s day, but Bohl also touched on what this means moving forward for the Wyoming football program.

The Pokes are in the midst of spring practice. They’ve gone through three sessions with 12 more to go. They return to the practice field Tuesday afternoon.
