Now here's something I never thought I'd ever write:  "Brad Paisley is a sophisticated, world-traveling international superstar"  Too much?  Yeah, you're probably right.

But the boy IS doin' just fine on his latest leg of the  "H20 II: Wetter and Wilder World Tour".

Brad had three sold out concerts in Ireland recently.  He performed for true country music fans in Dublin, Castlebar and Killarney.  Reports are that the crowds pretty much ate it up, singing back to Brad and showing knowledge of not only his hits, but some of the deeper cuts off his CD.s.

Fans came from as far away as Spain to the show in Dublin. In Killarney, local talent Roisin O, joined Paisley on stage to perform “Whiskey Lullaby.”

Brad appears to be enjoying his tour.  Between his Ireland gig and the next stop  in Stockholm, Sweden, he made his first visit to Pars, where he stopped into the US Embassy and met with US Ambassador to France Charles Rivkin.

Paisley's seventh studio album is "This Is Country Music."  His katest single is a duet with Carrie Underwood called "Remind Me".  The country star has also been heard in theaters recently, as he has two songs in Disney's animated film sequel "Cars 2."

There's no doubt that country is not only strong, but growing in the world markets.  Look for more and more artists "taking it on the road" to venues across the pond.
