The entertainment business isn't always fun and games -- sometimes, it can even lead to injuries, if you're not careful. But Carrie Underwood won't let a little pain (okay, and embarrassment) stop her from her big role in 'The Sound of Music Live' on Thursday night (Dec. 5).

Underwood told fans about her self-inflicted injuries via Twitter, revealing that she had a little accident during a game of leap frog and at another point, also hit herself in the head -- with her own guitar. But that won't hold her back when showtime comes.

The country star is set to perform as the lead role in the live three-hour television adaptation of the classic. She's playing Maria von Trapp alongside Stephen Moyer of 'True Blood' and Audra McDonald.

'The Sound of Music Live' airs Thursday night (Dec. 5) on NBC at 8PM ET.
