A New Hampshire teenager proved he’s not the brightest guy around by showing his displeasure with a fellow driver by shooting off a flare gun … inside his own car.
Nicholas Ficher was flaming mad at the other driver for cutting him off at a toll booth, so he pulled out his weapon of choice and pointed it at the vehicle. His aim, however, wasn’t true, and he ended up firing the flare gun into his own car, setting fire to the passenger seat – which had a passenger sitting in it.
A trooper caught up with the 18-year-old as he was trying to discard the gun. Ficher faces felony threat and reckless conduct charges.
A representative of an Oklahoma-based electric company was shocked when a customer threatened to blow up her office after being outraged by a bill for 14 dollars.
Deidra Reid, who has a history of making bomb threats, admits she “flipped out” while on the phone with a customer service rep, who filed the complaint with police and plans to pursue the matter in court. While she says she’s not entirely sure if she threatened to bomb Oklahoma Gas and Electric’s offices, she says she’d never have followed through because she couldn’t afford to.
Reid said, “I’m struggling to pay $40 a month for rent. How the hell am I to buy some bomb equipment? I don’t even know how to make a bomb.”
