I thought I would go on YouTube an take a quick look at all the video from this morning about the death of Osama bin Laden and came across something interesting. I was watching the video in this post attached below which I actually saw on the news this morning, but then I started to look at the comments and was amazed by some people's reaction. Here are a few interesting comments I pulled out (Let us know what you think about these comments:

so, we americans see a group of Al Qaeda soldiers on tv cheering about the death of Americans, and we get butthurt and angry about it and think "omg i cant believe people would be out in the streets cheering for the death of our soldiers," yet they go out and do this? in no way am i defending Osama or Al Qaeda, but really, think about just what you're doing and that the rest of the world is going to be watching you, before you go out and cheer like you just won the superbowl, bah humbug

it wasnt really osama you idiots. the government made a mistake and then tried covering it up quick by tossing the body into the sea.

YAY OBAMURR KILLED THE MAN WHO HELPED US INCREASE OUR INFLUENCE IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND WHO INCREASED OUR OIL SUPPLY

I have zero problems with Muslims cheering the deaths of American soldiers ... Muslim militants are entitled to fight against our military. There's nothing wrong with combat between soldiers, or celebrating a victory.

But I've actually never seen Muslim crowds cheer for that. Instead they always seem to be cheering some Jews getting blown up in a synagogue, or a bus of Indians being blown up, or a Balinese disco being blown up, or other Muslim civilians being blown up. Not the same at all.

What is your perspective on the cheering for the death of someone?
