Championships And Hoops Highlight The Laramie Sports Calendar Nov 13-19

Five champions will be crowned, a new basketball season begins and a #2 ranked team visits town to highlight the Laramie Sports Calendar.

The 2014 Wyoming State High School Football Championship games will be played at War Memorial Stadium. There are two on Friday and three on Saturday.

The Wyoming Cowboys and Cowgirls will open the newly renovated Arena-Auditorium on Sunday afternoon and Monday night. Both basketball games will be broadcast on Y95 Country (KCGY-FM 95.1).

Meanwhile, the UW cross country teams have their biggest race of the year, as they try to qualify for NCAA Championships. They race at the Mountain Regional Championships Friday. Cowboy wrestling will host the #2-ranked Minnesota Golden Gophers Saturday night. Finally, Cowgirl volleyball starts their final homestand of the season.
