After a tumultuous period last year, Charlie Sheen hasn’t been in the news much lately. As the former ‘Two and a Half Men’ star explains, there’s a good reason for that. Apparently, he’s not crazy anymore.

Speaking with reporters on Sunday, he called his bizarre behavior “an episode” and said he’s moved past it.

I think I’m a different person than I was yesterday,” Sheen said. “Everything is a lot more mellow and focused and much more rooted in reality.”

Gone are the goddesses and the televised rants, replaced by family time. Sheen says, “I’m a single guy hanging out with my children.” (He’s also spending time on his upcoming FX sitcom ‘Anger Management,’ which might explain his sudden “everything is back to normal” turn.)

Sheen says of the show:

I’ve been at this 30 years. It’s nice to be in a situation where the people I’m working with are excited about my input. That wasn’t the case for a long time,” Sheen says, perhaps hinting at his feuds with ‘Two and a Half Men’ creator Chuck Lorre.

Speaking of his old sitcom, has he talked to anyone there? Yes, he told reporters. “Jon [Cryer] and I text. Chuck, no, but at some point we are going to have to get some closure there.” Charlie Sheen sounding sane and offering an olive branch to Chuck Lorre? Maybe the world is actually coming to an end this year.
