One of the two incumbents in the race for Albany County Commissioner is Tim Chesnut, who feels his time in the position is key.

Chesnut is part of a crowded field running for two spots this year. There are 11 candidates on the primary election ballot for Tuesday, Aug. 21. Chesnut is one of seven Democrats in the race for a couple of spots that move on to the general election in November.

Chesnut joined the "Laramie Live on KOWB" radio morning show and host David Settle last Friday to discuss the major topics facing Albany County. Chesnut spoke about their tight budget, current and future projects, his experience in this position and how it benefits him, and plenty more.

Polls open at 7 a.m. Tuesday and close at 7 p.m.
