Cheyenne Crash Numbers Down
"We're actually doing pretty good," said Project Manager James Sims. "We're actually seeing an increase in growth and a reduction in crashes."
There were 1,726 total crashes last year, a 1.1 percent decrease from the 1,746 crashes in 2014.
"We've actually been seeing a reduction in alcohol crashes," said Sims. "But probably the biggest thing that we've actually been seeing here is a big reduction in younger drivers getting into vehicular crashes."
While multiple factors likely contributed to the decrease in crashes, Sims says the report mainly looks into the raw numbers and not actually what the factors of it are.
