Cheyenne motorists who use the intersection of 19th Street and Pioneer Avenue will have to find an alternative route starting Friday.

The intersection will be closed for about a week, as Phase II of the 19th Street Reconstruction Project moves forward.

The $5.4 million project, which stretches from Pioneer Avenue to Crow Creek, is expected to be completed by the end of November.

Funding for the project comes from the 5th Penny Sales Tax and the Board of Public Utilities.
