A Cheyenne man is facing up to 27 years in prison after police discovered over 28 grams of methamphetamine hidden throughout his house.

Officers were called to 35-year-old Eric Brown's home on December 12 in reference to a probation check.

According to court documents, police found a 4.09 gram baggie of meth inside an open bag of hash browns in the kitchen freezer. They also discovered 24.3 grams of meth and a small, black scale in the basement bathroom.

Brown was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and felony possession of methamphetamine.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 23 in Laramie County Circuit Court.
