A spokesman for the Cheyenne Police Department says the investigation into a shooting at the Medicap Pharmacy in Cheyenne last week has so far yielded no arrests.

Officer Dan Long said that as of Wednesday morning he knew of no new developments in the case, but added police are continuing to investigate.

Police say three African-American men entered the pharmacy on Thursday, Oct. 6 in an attempted armed robbery. The men exchanged shots with a pharmacist and then fled the store. The pharmacist, Jackson Quick, suffered a non-life-threatening leg wound.

Police say the robbers stole a Ford SUV in Wheatland which they used in the Medicap robbery attempt. That vehicle was found abandoned near Old Chicago Pizza shortly after the shooting.

The men were seen driving a white Chevy Lumina in Wheatland prior to stealing the SUV. It isn't known whether they still  might be driving the Lumina.

Another attempted armed robbery of the same pharmacy in December 2014 ended when the robber was shot.
