College National Finals Rodeo

Casper, WY – The nation’s best college cowboys and cowgirls from eleven different regions will enter into the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) arena this June.  The 63^rd Annual event will begin June 12^th and run through June 18^th.  The CNFR is the "Rose Bowl" of college rodeo. It is where the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) crowns individual event champions in saddle bronc riding, bare back riding, bull riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing, breakaway roping, and goat tying. National team championships are also awarded to both men's and women's teams. Over 400 cowboys and cowgirls from over 100 universities and colleges compete in Casper each year. Contestants compete all year in one of the NIRA's 11 regions for a chance to rope or ride at the CNFR. The top three students in each event, and top two men's and women's teams from the NIRA's 11 regions will qualify for the CNFR.

Two “Bulls, Broncs and Breakaway,” performances will be held on Sunday, June 12, a matinee at 1:00 p.m. and an evening performance at 4:00 p.m. All remaining performances begin at 7:00 p.m., including the Saturday Championship Round. Slack will be held on the mornings of Monday, June 13 and Tuesday, June 14, at 7:00 a.m. 

 Ticket prices are $8 General Admission, $15 Reserved Seats in Rows 12-21, and $20 Box Seats in Rows 4 – 11. Season Ticket prices are $48 General Admission, $90 Reserved Seats in Rows 12-21, and $110 Box Seats in Rows 4-11.
