Sometimes it can be difficult to find great entertainment in Laramie and unfortunately there is no corn maze close that I am aware of. Living in Wyoming it seems like our definition of a quick trip is a little different than in most places, but it is a reality of where we live. Fortunately there are a couple of great mazes down in Colorado and one in Wyoming that are not too far away. If you have a chance I would highly recommend rounding up the family or a group of good friends and heading down for a great time. If you have younger kids I would advise visiting Harvest Farms, but if you have an older group head over to the Fritzler Corn MAiZE at night for their haunted maze.

    Harvest Farms Corn Maze

Located Just North of Fort Collins (1 Hr. 15 Min. Away)

The Harvest Farms Corn Maze has a lot to offer and it is the closest to Laramie, which is nice. While the main attraction is without a doubt the actual maze itself, there is more than meets the eye here. The farm has a pumpkin patch, petting zoo, corn cannon, hay rides, playground, pumpkin smash, hay bale jump/maze, corn wagons, steer roping, barrel trains, evening camp fires and full service concessions. For details on each attraction check out their website. When I was there the corn maze seemed to be a pretty decent size, but it is geared a little more towards younger kids. Harvest Farms is open until October 30th and operates the following times.

    Operating Hours:

    Fridays & Saturdays – 10 AM to 9 PM

    Sundays – 1 PM to 8 PM

    Pricing:

    Adults (13 & up) – $15

    The Fritzler Corn MAiZE

Located 7 Miles South of Greely (2 Hrs. Away)

The Fritzler Corn MAiZE makes for a really great day trip and in the big scheme of things, it's still not too terribly far away. There are great things to do there whether you are taking your kids or are just a kid at heart. If you do have a family with small children, make sure and walk the maze during the day as they will be scared if you go at night. The Fritzler MAiZE also features attractions including The Creature, Helicopter Rides, Jumping Pillows, The Verti-Scope & 3D Maze, Spider Webs, Scream Mountain, The Hay Climb, a Family Maze, a Barrel Train, Go Karts, Corn Cannons, Pumpkin Cannons, and duck races. You can see why it is possible to spend a whole day here! For more details on the attractions check out their website. When I visited the maze I went through with a group of friends late at night and it was a good time. I myself was never very scared but it made a few people jump when the actors caught them at just the right moment. The Fritzler MAiZE is open until October 31st and operates the following times.

    Harvest Home Corn Maze

Located 2 Miles West of Lingle (2 Hrs. 15 Min. Away)

The Harvest Home Corn Maze seems to be the closest Maze located in WYoming that I could find and is located near Lingle. I have personally never visited this Maze, but from the looks of the website it has a pumpkin patch and farmers market attached. Further information was a bit hard to come by but you can call (307) 532-1686 or (307) 575-2567 for more details. Driving directions are also located on their website.
