The Cooper Center for Creative Arts will hold the opening reception for their latest art show on Thursday, March 12 from 6:30-8 p.m. The free event will highlight 25 pieces of art from 15 local student artists from the Cooper Center.

The Artist Voice: A Mixed Media Expression features acrylics, prints, and photography. Artists will be present for the opening reception to visit with people and speak about their artwork.

Beginning on March 23, the exhibition will be open to the public from 5-7 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. The show will be available for public viewing for three months.

The Cooper Center for Creative Arts, which is through Ark Regional Services, is located at 1174 North Fourth Street. The Cooper Center is focused on nurturing and cultivating artists while providing them with education and materials needed. The center usually does three or four art shows each year featuring work from their student artists.
