Country Artist Sarah Darling Writes ‘Love Letter to Wyoming’ [VIDEO]
From the grandeur of the Bighorn Mountains to the jagged peaks of the Tetons, the landscape in Wyoming is nothing short of spectacular. The cowboy way is not just a saying but a way of life. For those reasons, country star Sarah Darling wrote this ballad about Wyoming - Where the Cowboys Ride.
This song is my love letter to Wyoming. Wyoming is magic because it’s a place real cowboys call home. We’ve lost so much of the authenticity of the Old West, but Wyoming is a place where—no matter who you are or where you come from—you can slow down and feel the spirit of cowboys, both past and present. - Darling told the Wyoming Office of Tourism.
The video was a collaboration between Darling and the Wyoming Office of Tourism. They filmed the video near Dubois, Wyoming, this past October. Where the Cowboys Ride debuted today on CMT.
Here in Wyoming, the cowboy lifestyle is the Wyoming lifestyle. One of the beautiful things about this place is that you don’t have to go back in time to find cowboys riding the range. The cowboy lifestyle is alive and well and we love that we’re able to share that spirit and those genuine experiences with our visitors. - Diane Shober, executive director for Wyoming Office of Tourism said.
Sarah Darling describes her music as "Dream Country" with its ethereal sound. She has had two number one videos on CMT and GAC and over a half a million downloads. She has shared the stage with the likes of Carrie Underwood and Kacey Musgraves.
