The Wyoming Cowboys will host the New Mexico Lobos on Saturday in their first Mountain West Conference game at home.  Tip off is set for 4 p.m. at the Arena-Auditorium, coverage will begin on Y95 at 3:30 p.m.

Wyoming is looking to rebound from their Tuesday night conference opening loss to Colorado State, 73-60.  In the first half Wyoming led by as much as 13 points in the road game, but were unable to sustain it and fell to 7-8 overall and 0-1 in MWC play.

Desmar Jackson is leading Wyoming with 16.1 points per game and 2.57 steals.  Jackson has scored 20 or more points in four straight games and 10 or more points in twelve consecutive games.

According to Coach Heath Schroyer, Afam Muojeke and Adam Waddell will once again be limited in their minutes as they rehab from injury.

The Cowboys went 7-2 on their home court during pre-conference play and hope to continue defending their home court well, but it will be a challenge against last year's MWC Regular-Season Champions.

New Mexico is led by Dairese Gary with 13.3 points per game and 5.3 assists per game.  The Lobos currently have three guards averaging double figures in scoring.

Saturday's game will be Youth Day.  Children in sixth grade or under receive free admission to the game with a paid regular adult admission.
