The Wyoming Cowboys rallied from a 15-point deficit for a 64-58 victory at Nevada on Tuesday night in Reno.

Wyoming (21-6, 10-4) exploded for 51 points in the second half. They received 18 points and six assists from Josh Adams in the comeback. He also added five rebounds and four steals. Derek Cooke Jr. scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while Jason McManamen contributed a career-high 11 points off the bench.

The victory gave UW their tenth win in the Mountain West for the first time since the 2001-02 season. They finished with 11 that season.

The Pokes scored a season-low 13 points in the first half. They trailed by 14 at the break, and it was still a 13-point deficit with over 12 minutes left. The Pokes crafted a 12-2 run capped by McManamen's three in transition gave UW the lead for good.

Charles Hankerson Jr. knocked down a key three, plus free throw from Adams and Riley Grabau sealed the Cowboys the road break-through.

The 14-point halftime deficit was the largest overcome by Wyoming this season, and largest blown lead by the Wolfpack.

Nevada (8-17, 4-9) was led by A.J. West with 18 points and 19 rebounds. The Wolfpack held a 42-27 edge in rebounding.

It was a tale of two halves. The Cowboys shot 26 percent in the first half. They bounced back and shot 61.5 percent and hit five big 3-pointers in the second half.

Wyoming returns to action on Wednesday, February 25, when they host Fresno State in Laramie at 7:30 p.m.
