Cowgirl Volleyball Hosts Spring Tournament

The Wyoming Cowgirl Volleyball Team will host and play in their first spring tournament on Saturday, March 29. The matches are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. in the UniWyo Sports Complex. Besides the Cowgirls, Colorado School of Mines, Eastern Wyoming College, University of Northern Colorado and Regis University will also participate.

In the five team format, each team will play two sets with scoring to 25 points or a 60 minute time limit. If there is a split, the winner will be determined by the point difference. The Cowgirls are scheduled to play Eastern Wyoming at 10:00 a.m., UNC at 11:00 a.m., Regis at 1:00 p.m. and Colorado School of Mines at 3:00 p.m.

The Cowgirls will continue their spring workouts over the next several weeks and compete in two more tournaments. They are at the Northern Colorado Tournament on Saturday, April 12, before wrapping things up on Saturday, April 26, back at the UniWyo Sports Complex.
