The Wyoming Cowgirls have been picked to finish fourth, while senior Bridget Shanahan received some accolades for the upcoming Mountain West volleyball season.

Wyoming received one first place vote and 77 total points in the balloting.

Shanahan is one of seven members on the 2015 Preseason All-Mountain West team. She earned her first All-MW honor after last season. Shanahan's one of the top returning outside hitters in the conference. She averaged 3.33 kills per set in the 2014 season.

The league released its Preseason Coaches' Poll and Preseason All-Mountain West team Thursday.

Six-time defending champion Colorado State is the preseason favorite among the league's 11 head coaches. The Rams were chosen first on seven of the ballots and finished with 97 points. Colorado State's Adrianna Culbert was tabbed as the preseason Player of the Year.
