Four Cowgirls scored in double figures led by Natalie Baker’s 19 points, and Wyoming rolled past Boise State Saturday, 82-58, in Laramie.

The Cowgirls jumped out to an 11-0 lead and never trailed. They led 35-22 at half. UW added a 25-7 run in the third quarter and built their edge to as much as 33 points in the fourth.

Wyoming head coach Joe Legerski said in a university release,

“We set the tone early in today’s game. Natalie Baker came out aggressive; we knew that we had to get her out on the perimeter to play and she did a tremendous job. I think you could see our confidence growing as the game progressed.”

Marleah Campbell scored a career-high 16 points, while Liv Roberts had 15 and Marta Gomez added 10 points. Roberts and Gomez both grabbed seven rebounds.

Wyoming (12-11, 5-8) shot 47 percent from the field. The Cowgirls knocked down ten 3-pointers and finished 20-of-25, 80 percent, at the foul line. They also had a 43-41 advantage in rebounding.

Boise State (16-8, 9-4) lost their second straight game. The Broncos shot 30 percent from the floor and made 2-23, nine percent, from beyond the arc. Marijk Vanderschaaf scored 12 points, while Marta Hermida added 10.

The Cowgirls will face the second place Bulldogs at Fresno State Wednesday night at 8 p.m.
