The Wyoming Cowgirl basketball team will be on the road to begin the week as they take on the Denver Pioneers, on Tuesday, Nov. 12. The game is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Magness Arena in Denver. Live stats and audio can be found through the women’s basketball Gameday Central page located on the www.gowyo.com website.

The Cowgirls are 1-0 this season after a 71-57 victory over the Montana State-Northern Skylights on Friday night in Sheridan. Three Cowgirls finished the night in double-figures led by Mileto with 27. She was followed by Kayla Woodward with 15 and Fallon Lewis with 13. Woodward also led the way with nine rebounds. Wyoming shot 25-58 (.431) from the field and out rebounded the Skylights, 34-30.
The Pioneers are currently 0-1 after a 73-56 loss against the Utah Utes, on Friday night, in Salt Lake City. Denver is led by three players who scored 13 points in the first game of the season. Maiya Michel also recorded seven rebounds against the Utes. They return four starters and ten letterwinners to a team that went 14-17 overall and 8-10 in the WAC last season.
This is the 22nd meeting between the two schools. Wyoming leads the series 17-4. The last time the two teams met was Nov. 16, 2012 as the Cowgirls defeated the Pioneers, 81-66, in Laramie. Denver is coached by Kerry Cremeans who is in her second season with the program.
