University of Wyoming release:

The Wyoming Cowgirl basketball team will return to the Double A to host the Montana State Bobcats, on Friday, Nov. 15, in their regular season home opener. The Cowgirls are 2-0 this season after a thrilling 73-70 victory over the Denver Pioneers, on Tuesday night, in Denver. It was the Cowgirl seniors who led the way in the victory. Fallon Lewis recorded a career high 17 points along with a team high nine rebounds. She was followed byChelan Landry with a career high 14 points while shooting 10-11 from the free throw line. Kayla Woodwardrecorded 13 points and six rebounds in her effort. Wyoming shot 23-62 (.371) from the field and 22-29 (.759).

The Bobcats are 1-0 on the season with an 85-69 victory over Cal State Northridge on Sunday. They return three starters and ten letterwinners to a team that went 17-13 overall and 11-9 in the Big Sky Conference.

This is the 17th meeting between the two schools. MSU leads the series 10-6. The last time the two teams met was Dec. 8, 2012 as the Cowgirls defeated the Bobcats, 68-60, in Bozeman. Montana State is coach by Trisha Binford who is in her ninth season with the program.
