Delays Expected on Grand Ave During Three Week Project

There will be single lane closures and temporary loss of some left turn lanes on Grand Avenue in Laramie between 15th and 21st streets during a project the Wyoming Transportation Department says will start on Monday, Nov. 26th.

The City of Laramie will be conducting a three week investigation into utility depths and locations beneath the roadway to prepare for the full reconstruction of that section in 2014.

WYDOT says travelers should expect minor delays during daylight hours into the middle of December. The areas reduced to a single lane will shift as the work zone moves and speeds may be reduced. WYDOT reports that access to all businesses in the area will remain open during the project.
