Dierks Bentley is a heck of a guy.  I'd say that without even considering the contributions he's made to many, many worthwhile causes.  But when it comes to his annual "Miles and Music for Kids" motorcycle ride, he takes it to a new level.

Next up for the ride:  the windy city of Chicago.  The date?  October 9th.

This year's tour kicked off in Columbus OH last May.  This is a high-dollar money raiser.  Since the inception of the ride, (five years ago) somewhere north of 1.6 million dollars have been raised for Children's Miracle Network hospitals around the country.

The proceeds from this run will directly benefit Chicago's Children's Memorial Hospital.

The ride will end at Joe's Bar in Chicago.  Dierks and his friends, Eli Young Band, Jerrod Niemann and a few others plan on jamming at the bar.  Tckets for the ride and concert are just 40 dollars.  If you just want to catch the concert, is a 20 dollar bill.  The tickets will go on sale this Friday, August 26th.

If you would like more information, or maybe even ride with the other boys and girls, check out the details here.

By the way, VIP packages are also available.

Who doesn't respect artists that take time out to bring attention and badly needed funding to worthy causes. Anytime I get a chance, I'm definitely going to bring them to your attention.
