The University of Wyoming's Brady Dinwoodie is in position to make Saturday's championship round at the CNFR in Casper.

The senior saddle bronc rider is one of only eight with two successful rides after the completion of two rounds.

Dinwoodie has scored 125.5 points on his two rides. That has him in seventh place in the average. His third round ride is during Wednesday evening's performance at the Casper Events Center.

The two other members of UW contingent haven't been as fortunate.

Senior steer wrestler Tyler Bond had two successful rounds until Tuesday night's performance. Bond recorded a no time in his third round run. His career as a Cowboy has come to an end.

Roper Brit Ellerman and his partner Trey Yates, of Eastern Wyoming College, have failed to get a time in their first two rounds to team roping. They have been eliminated from a short go bid. Ellerman and Yates will compete in Thursday night's performance for their third round action.

The CNFR will conclude Saturday in Casper. Only the top 12 times and scores in the men's and women's events advance to the championship round.
