A tanker truck ran into the median in Denver around noon today on Interstate 25 (I-25). Upon impact, the cab of the vehicle burst into flames with the driver still inside!

The fire and the following explosions took place in the Greenwood Village area known as the Denver Tech Center (DTC). I-25 was closed in both directions while fire crews attacked the blaze. The highway was reopened after 3:30 pm today, according to local Denver news.

In the above video, you can clearly see the driver exiting the burning cab. He appears to be on fire as well, as he rolls on the pavement, before rising and attempting to run. He then collapses back to the ground, when he's helped by what appears to be a road worker, who then helps him run to safety.

At this time, the condition of the driver is unknown. The exact cause of the initial accident is still being investigated, but it is generally believed to have been the result of a blown tire.
