For over forty years, the world has been a richer, more enteratining place, thanks to the musical career of one Emmylou Harris.

I'm not even gonna pretend that I'm not in love with Emmylou...both her music and her story.  She's 64 years old now and still as beautiful as ever.  Throughtout here career, she's played everything from little-bitty honky tonks to huge concert halls and she's owned the crowd everywhere.

Her newest album is called "Hard Bargain," and it's been nationally and internationally accepted as one of the best things she's ever done.

When you've been around an in the business as long as Emmylou, your story just kind of writes itself; it's the same with her music, I think.  Harris' remarkable song-writing chops are on display for 11 of the cuts on "Hard Bargain".

Whether she's sharing memories of "New Orleans" or "The Road", a truly lovely song about her

relationship with Gram Parsons back in the day, it's hard to find a bad cut.

Fo those of you unfamiliar with Emmylou's work (as few as those may be), check out Pancho and Lefty from '77  and If I Needed You - with Townes Van Zandt and Stever Earle.

Remember the name:  Hard Bargain...available at a store near you!
