Three people were arrested, two of them on felony charges, shortly after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Loaf N Jug on South Third Street.

Steve Morgan, public safety answering point administrator of the Laramie Police Department, says a retailer near the UW Plaza called police to report an attempted fraud Wednesday afternoon.

Morgan says suspects used false names on fraudulent identification cards and credit cards in an unsuccessful attempt to obtain electronic equipment worth over $1,000.

The retailer gave police a description of the suspects' vehicle, and police later found the suspects filling up their car at the Loaf N Jug on South Third Street.

According to a news release from the Laramie Police Department, officers interviewed the suspects outside the Loaf N Jug. The officers became suspicious of possible drug-related activity in the vehicle and commenced a search.

With the help of an Albany County Sheriff's K-9 unit, officers found an unspecified amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, counterfeit credit cards and matching identification cards in the car.

Three people were arrested and taken to the Albany County Detention Center, where they await arraignment in Circuit Court.

Francisco Perdomo-Dotel is charged with felony possession of marijuana. If convicted, he could face up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Gabriely Jose is charged with unauthorized use of personal identification information. She could spend 10 years in prison and pay a $10,000 fine if convicted.
