Last fall, the Fort Collins City Council voted down a proposed ordinance that would allow women to be topless in public. Now a group called "Free the Nipple" is looking to challenge the ruling in federal court.

According to their website, Free the Nipple FoCo is an "equal rights group seeking social justice through legal action, social activism and collaboration."

They claim the Fort Collins public nudity ordinance is sexist, discriminatory and violates their First Amendment rights.

The group is soliciting women to join a class action lawsuit against the city. Since men are legally allowed to be topless in Fort Collins, only women and transgender citizens can be part of the litigation.
