Bookworms, music lovers, and movie buffs rejoice! The Albany County Public Library's semi-annual Friends of the Library book sale will begin on Friday, November 2 for members of Friends of the Library. Memberships are available for purchase at the circulation during regular hours and will be available for purchse at the door on Friday evening. Memberships cost $10 per person and $15 per household. The sale will be opened to the general public on Saturday, November 3.

Though a majority of the items for sale in the library's basement will be books, there will also be vinyl albums, CDs, audiobooks, DVDs, Blu Rays, and video games available for purchase. All proceeds from the sale will benefit the Friends of the Library, which helps purchase new materials for the Albany County Public Library. The hours of the book sale will be as follows:

November 2

7 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Open only to Friends of the Library members)

November 3

1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

November 5

1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

November 6

10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

November 7

10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

November 8

10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

November 9

1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (All items half price!)

November 10

1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Bag Day--Fill a medium bag for $7, a large bag for $10)

Not sure you can wait for the book sale? The Friends of the Library have some items for sale in the library's Book Nook, located next to the entrance of the Albany County Public Library.
