Glen Campbell – Final Album and Tour

Unfortunately, we can say without too much doubt that the August release of Glen's latest album will be his last.

Glen Campbell has announced to the world that he has Alzheimer's disease.  He is still in the early stages of the debilitating disease and has plans to make one last tour for the  album.

The chillingly titled "Ghost on the Canvas" will be released by his label on August 30, 2011. 

The 16 track album features some of Glen's latest works.  Campbell has had more than 50 studio albums to his credit.  In his career he has released over 100 singles including classic cuts like Wichita Lineman, Bonaparte's Retreat, Galveston and, of course Rhinestone Cowboy.

The "Glen Campbell Goodbye Tour" ( his phrase) is still in the process of booking dates.

Country fans, producers, writers and radio personalities around the world will keep Glen and his family in our prayers.
