The invitation-only ceremony is set for Saturday, February 11, 2012 in Los Angeles.  The Grammy's are set to be broadcast the next day.

The two country stalwarts will be joined by a who's who of musical talent on the list of honorees. The Alman Brothers Band, Antonio Carlos Jobim, The Memphis Horns, Gil Scott-Heron and the legendary Diana Ross will all be presented with lifetime achievement awards.

Several other Grammy's for technical fields will also be presented at the ceremony.  The honor for Glen comes on the heels of his earlier announcement that he is suffering from Alzheimer's disease and will be wrapping up his last tour this year.

Jones, of course has lived the typical country star life with divorce and troubles galore, followed by redemption and a new life with a new wife.  It should be a rather emotional ceremony as these two talented men are honored for their abilities and their contribution to country.

We'll bring you details of the ceremonies after all is said and done in February.
