He's won a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Grammys.  And I've got to say, he looked good last night.

Glen Campbell showed no signs of the Alzheimer's he's suffering from last night. He has had to resort to using tele-prompters in his concerts. The disease sometimes affects his ability to remember the lyrics of even songs he's sung thousands of times. But last night he nailed it, not once looking to the stage floor for help.

The country legend was surrounded by future legends like The Band Perry.  They began the medley of his greatest hits with Gentle on my Mind

I've got my own choir here, Glen laughed in the middle of the song.

Blake Shelton continued the tribute with his Southern Nights.

The whole room reacted when Glen was accompanied by all four, the Perry's and Blake. It was a wonderful night tinged with sadness over the death of the Legendary Whitney Houston.  But no one can take away from the honor each and every winner must have felt.

A strange combination of celebration and sorrow.  That was Grammy Night 2012.
