Joining student Safe School Ambassadors from all three Cheyenne high schools Governor Matt Mead declared october "Bullying Prevention Month" in Wyoming.

The governor says he thinks students are the key to ending bullying in schools.

I don't there's any greater messenger that bullying is unacceptable than from people who are in school. I can talk about it and you can talk about it, adults can talk about it, but when your peers say it is unacceptable, I do think in makes a difference.

National Bullying Prevention Month encourages schools, students, parents and community organizations to engage in awareness and prevention activities designed to eliminate bullying.

The Safe School Ambassadors program aims to help students break the vicious cycle of pain, rage and revenge; all symptoms that tend to stem from mistreatment.
