I just couldn't pass this one up and decided I needed to share.  Cosmopolitan Magazine has tabbed Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott as one of their 2012 Fun, Fearless Females.  Yes, turns out there really is such a thing.

I'm not really a big fan of Cosmo.  I mean, it's a fine magazine but definitely a little "girly" for me.  (ps...don't send me any hate emails on that okay?)  But, they have given some props to Hillary and that makes it worth my time to check it out.

Hillary shares the honor with such notables as Rose Byrne, Zoe Saldan, Freida Pinto and Lucy Hale.  In addition to the other ladies, Cosmopolitan took time out to interview Hillary in their latest on-line version:

If you weren't a singer, what would you do?
I would be a special-education teacher. Outside of Lady Antebellum, that's where my passion lies.

How did you know your fiancé was The One?
It was when I met his family. His brother is 10 years younger, and when I saw them together, I knew he'd be a great father. I just melted.

Being in a group with two guys must teach you a lot about men. What's surprised you most?
Guys can brawl about something and then just move on. Women don't do that. I've learned that I have to just say "What are you yelling about?"

As the scope of fans for country music continues to expand, I can only expect that there will be more and more attention paid to both the men and women of country.  And that attention will be paid by not only the "standard" country media, but others as well.  And, that is all good for country.
