The Wyoming Chapter of the Backcountry Hunters and Anglers Board will host the Hunting Film Tour tonight from 7-10 p.m. at the Gryphon Theatre in Laramie.

Tonight’s fundraiser features films from hunters all across North America.  The Co-Chair of the BHA’s Wyoming Chapter, Emmett Nelson, hopes that those in attendance will take away “some inspiration about the back country, and just getting out.”

Over $3000 in prizes will be raffled off this evening, including a Remington rifle and a pair of binoculars from Lander-based Maven Optics.

Last year, BHA donated proceeds from the event to both the National Forest Service and Wyoming Game and Fish.  The Forest Service was able to create new signage, while Wyoming Game and Fish used the money for their access program.

“One thing we work really hard at is providing access and working on access projects so people can go out and enjoy the backcountry,” says Nelson.

Doors open at 6 p.m. this evening, and tickets are on sale now for $15 each.
