Drawings are complete in 2014 for resident elk hunting licenses along with resident and nonresident deer and antelope licenses. Hunters can now check their results on the Game and Fish website at wgfd.wyo.gov or by calling the Wyoming Game and Fish at 307-777-4600.

Refund warrants for those who were unsuccessful in the drawings will be mailed in the next several weeks followed by mailings for those who were successful.

A number of areas still have licenses remaining, as is usual. A total of 5,886 full price antelope licensed are available, and 6,504 reduced price doe/fawn antelope licenses. In addition, 1,615 full price deer licenses and more than 4,820 doe fawn licenses are still available for purchase. Any elk hunters who would like to purchase a license should note that 2,855 full price and nearly 12,000 cow/calf licenses are available.

You can find a list of all the areas with remaining licenses on the Wyoming Game and Fish website. Hunters can purchase full price licenses beginning at 8 a.m. on July 10. They can do so on a home computer, through automated license agents or at any of the Game and Fish regional offices. Reduced-price tickets for cow/calf elk and doe/fawn deer and antelope go on sale on July 17.

Those with questions about applying for remaining licenses or about public access into certain areas can call the Game and Fish Department at 307-777-4600.
