The Wyoming Department of Transportation advised that Interstate 80 between Laramie and Sinclair will remain closed for an extended period of time due to winter conditions.

The department does not have a projected opening time.

Highway 30/287 between I-80 and Rock River is also closed.

WYDOT closed I-80 between Rawlins and Laramie to all light, high-profile vehicles at 5:44 p.m. due to high winds resulting in an extreme blow-over risk.  That stretch was closed to all vehicles at 6:26 p.m.

The department warned of the extended closure at 8:05 p.m.
