The westbound lane of Interstate 80, west of Laramie is closed to Walcott between Exit 235 and Exit 279 due to multiple tractor-trailer blow overs that occurred earlier today, according to a Wyoming Department of Transportation  press release.

At least five tractor-trailers have been blown over and are blocking lanes. I-80 was closed to light, high-profile vehicles at the time of the incidents. Winds speeds exceeding 60 miles per hour have been reported in areas between Laramie and Walcott.

US 30 from Laramie to Walcott is also closing due to high winds.

WYDOT estimates that the road opening time will be between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. today.
